Which course is for you?
Extra-curricular Japanese Language Program
If you are interested in studying Japanese, please attend the orientation session and register for classes. We will help you to select the appropriate classes by conducting individual interviews.
Orientation for Autumn Semester, 2026

PlaceRoom A33, General Education Building 3F, Gofuku Campus
Application Period for the Open Class, Autumn Semester 2026
DateAugust 26 (Wed.) – September 3 (Thu.), 5:00 p.m.
If you have a valid status of residence in Japan but are not enrolled at the University of Toyama, please apply through the Open Class.
If you take classes less than 10 hours a week in School or Graduate School,you can not take any class in the Extracurricular Japanese language program.Please apply for classes in the “Open Class.”
If you can not pick up the suitable class for your Japanese language level,please contact us by 2 weeks before the application deadline.

General Japanese Language Course
You must attend the orientation to register yourself in this course.

All Nikkensei Students must attend this orientation. Short-term exchange students, who wish to study in this course also need to attend this orientation.
